I recently went to Al Waha in St. Louis and had this lovely cup of coffee flavored with cardamom and prepared in the Bedouin tradition.

It was quite delicious.  And the hookahs and food were quite lovely as well.  For those of you who need something interesting to do on Christmas you can come to Al Waha at 10:30 PM Saturday to see burlesque performed by none other than Lola Van Ella herself along with Jeez Loueez!

“Hey, looks like you’re havin’ a great time not havin’ a headache, pal.   You know, it’d be a real shame if somehow you happen’d to get one…”

“What am I implying?  I ain’t implyin’ nothin’.  I’m just sayin’ it be a real shame…”

“Wow, these are great seats, Sugar!  You can almost see the beads of sweat on all the players.”

“Ooh!  That looks like it hurt!   Hey, Honey!  Did you see that play?”
