What Is This Site?

This is AllGoogly.com, a site dedicated to the obsession of putting googly-eyes on things and photographing the end results.
No, seriously… That is what this site is all about.
Everyday (hopefully) a new googly will be posted. I’ll try to keep them all as interesting as possible, and for the most part clean and work-safe.
As I develop this site out a bit more I will add the ability for people accross the globe to submit their own googlies, and to perhaps even add captions (googLOLs).
So, please come by often, or even subscribe to the RSS feed, and share in the pure joy that comes from googly eyes, which truly make anything better.

He’s appearing in tonight’s googly, funny you should ask. I just got done creating his entry (of course it won’t show until three after midnight, when all new googlies appear).

Awesome, Paula. That is the whole point of this site: to make people, even people I may never meet face to face, smile a little in the midst of all the trouble and turmoil in life.
The recession, terrorism, debts, political turmoil, disease, famine, mortality… screw it, I’m going to put googly eyes on things and have a good chuckle at least once a day.

Let me explain.
I’m reading the entire directory at http://www.humor-blogs.com for a personal project. And it HURTS, GOD it hurts. So many hundreds of blogs about “My wacky life”, “funny things my kids said”, endless reposts of unfunny pictures somebody Photoshopped. So much dross, unoriginality and CRAP.
I’ve been at it 3 hours now. I’m about 194 blogs in. Not a single one of them was funny. Not a single one of them didn’t *actively hurt*.
And then I hit allgoogly. And I started laughing. And I kept laughing, until it started to hurt, and I still couldn’t stop.
Googly Editor, if you were here I’d hug you.

Glad you enjoy the site. I assume I have you to thank for posting the site on reddit, which just got me an unbelievable number of clicks; truly the biggest surge of new visitors to my site ever in its history.
I was actually thinking of taking a month-long sabbatical from the site due to low viewership, but you have inspired me to keep ensuring there is a new googly eacha nd every day.

Hey is there any way we can upload our own pictures and googly them ourselves? All different sizes of eyes and we can pick which way the eye balls go.

We don’t have an upload form for now. We just have a ultra-secure email address to send the images to. You can get the email on this page:

I am redesigning the site and I am mulling over having a submission form, but we’ll see.
